Giorgio Biscaro (Vercelli, 1978)
Shapes, functions, behaviours: these are Giorgio Biscaro’s key traits.
Born in Piedmonte but raised in Treviso, he has been working both as a freelancer and industry professional designer, concurrently developing two apparently opposite attitudes: recognized as one of the emerging talents of Italian design, lecturer at the Politecnico di Milano and IUAV in Venice, after ending a long exciting collaborations with Foscarini, he has become artistic director of FontanaArte. He regularly writes about design and philosophy, loves Murano’s furnaces and nails tables.
